Tangerine Dream's Sorcerer and Kitaro's Astral Traveller exemplify the freaky space music part of the genre, at least that's how I think of them. One Live Badger (From Badger) has ex-Yes guy Tony Kaye on keys, very nice. Mirage is the Camel album I prefer, although the first is also funky.
